YARRAA Works Because I Work with a Lot of People
YARRAA initially appealed to me as a distributor because it allows me to streamline the process of accepting and processing returned items. It serves this function really well. However, what I’ve discovered is that there’s a really basic reason that YARRAA works for me. That reason is because I deal with a whole lot of people each day in my business. I never realized how difficult it was to keep all of those professional relationships organized until I started using YARRAA and discovered how simple the system makes it.
As a distributor, I have to work with a lot of different people. I work with many different people who create products and manufacture items. I sell these products through many different retailers. I work with a variety of different people who do repairs, some of which are the same people as the manufacturers and some of which are unrelated to the manufacturers. I have a staff of people working for me and I have to deal with each of them on a regular basis. Managing all of those relationships is tough. Sometimes I don’t know exactly what I’m supposed to be doing with whom. Information gets lost along the way between us.
However, YARRAA is making that a lot easier. I can use one YARRAA account to keep the information organized for all of my manufacturers, retailers and service providers. I can enter multiple people into the account which means that my staff can use the same YARRAA account to enter information that I need to know without actually having to hunt me down to tell me directly. This new process is saving me a lot of time and it’s even saved me from making a few mistakes. I’m really appreciating that right now even though it’s not the initial reason that I signed up for the service.

Yarraa, UET to Form Joint Venture
We are pleased to announce that U E-Technologies, a member of the UMW Group, will soon be entering into a joint venture with Yarraa. The joint venture will entail our companies working together in Malaysia to publicize Yarraa and its many benefits for consumers and sell-side users alike. U E-Technologies will now put its considerable business network to good use in reaching out to potential clients in the very important Malaysian market. This partnership has been several months in the making, and will greatly enhance Yarraa’s ability to serve consumers and companies alike in Malaysia – just for starters.
UMW is a conglomeration of businesses with strong presence in the automotive, equipment, engineering, and oil-and-gas industries. Founded in Malaysia in 1917 and still based there, UMW now enjoys an international presence reaching as far afield as Australia and Turkmenistan. U E-Technologies, also known as UET, was founded in 1994 to provide information technology (IT) services to UMW. It provides both products and services, with a focus on the areas of facilities management, systems development and integration, and maintenance and support.
Much like Yarraa, UET committed to finding ways to help its clients improve customer service. Among the ways it accomplishes this goal are solutions in the fields of project management, message development, and systems integrations. For 15 years, UET has helped businesses all over Malaysia run more smoothly and profitably. Now it will have an additional solution to offer, in the form of Yarraa’s unparalleled after-sales services! With UET’s outreach and our services, consumers all over Malaysia will soon have an easier time than they had ever imagined with managing warranties and after-purchase needs.
We are optimistic that similar joint ventures will soon be forthcoming in other countries. In the meantime, we look forward to welcoming UET’s many Malaysian business- and trading partners into the Yarraa family!

Understanding Reverse Logistics
As a product distributor, I have a lot of things on my plate each day. I have to make sure that each of my products gets shipped out to the right place in a timely manner. I also have to make sure that I am able to accept products that need to be returned or repaired and to ship those back out quickly. Ideally, I’d like to do this in a way that keeps my costs as low as possible since that’s the only way that I’m going to be able to make a profit. Without a profit, I can’t stay in business.
The reason that YARRAA initially caught my attention is because of the way that it offers opportunities to save money using reverse logistics. Someone who doesn’t work in distribution might not understand what this means but it’s crucial to the business. This involves making sure that consumers and manufacturers can return products to us as needed for repairs and maintenance. Reverse logistics provides a structure for doing that which is simple and cost-effective.
There are a lot of reasons that items might get returned to my business. In fact, some of the products that we offer are specifically designed to get returned. For example, air filtration systems may come with a warranty that says we’ll do basic maintenance on a steady basis for a number of years. We need to make sure that our customers can easily get that product back to us for maintenance in a way that doesn’t cost us a lot of money.
I’ll be honest; I don’t want to think much about how to do this. I don’t want to analyze reverse logistics and create a plan that will keep my costs down. I’ll do it if I have to but I have so much other stuff going on each day that I’d rather it was worked out for me. YARRAA is specifically designed to use reverse logistics to help distributors save money. That also saves me time which saves me more money. Even if you don’t understand reverse logistics, you can understand that equation!
