Eliminate the Need to Haggle With Customer Service Reps by Booking Service Requests Through Yarraa

Lynda Belcher There are so many benefits to a site like Yarraa.com, including the fact that it helps those of us that are extremely disorganized keep it together by tracking things we might normally misplace, like warranties and receipts. However, one of my favorite features of the site appeals to the side of me that is constantly on the wrong end of the customer service spectrum.

The Yarraa.com service request section is such a great feature for anyone who has spent hours ---literally --- on the other end of the phone, appealing to a completely unsympathetic customer service representative to help with a service issue. This can be so irritating when all you want to do is be able to drop off the item in question at the nearest service center for any necessary repairs.

Well, now you can save your phone rage for another matter, because Yarraa.com offers a service specifically aimed at helping people like you --- and me – to navigate through this frustrating process. You can use Yarraa to contact a service center and essentially do the requisite haggling for you. All you to do is look under the listing of your products on the Yarraa site and submit a service quest, listing the problem and choosing from nearby service centers. Who knew it could be so simple to get service request done without having to take an entire day off of work to do it?

The best part is that when you arrive at the service center, they will already have the information needed to address the problem for your product. However, if you don’t see a nearby service center listed, you may have to contact it directly and make arrangements, all the while encouraging them to become part of the Yarraa network.

Again, though, this is where Yarraa makes your life easier because let’s say you don’t know where in the heck to find a service center; Yarraa will help you find one through a very detailed map of your area, with authorized and unauthorized service centers.

I am all for anything that not only helps me find things easily online, but also helps me avoid those uncomfortable phone calls with customer service reps that seem more interested in arguing the details of my warranty and what I “might have done to the product” than helping me to fix it. This is just another component of Yarraa that helps the entire site stand out as a must-have for those into life organization of any kind.

Track your repairs with Yarraa

Dawn AllcotOne of Yarraa’s best features is the ability to store and retrieve all your receipt and warranty information. But the program does so much more. You can also track all your repairs online.

For instance, when my laptop power supply broke, I spent close to two hours on the phone with the company. They mailed me the part, but sent the wrong model number. I spent three days without my computer while I shipped back the incorrect power supply and received the right one.

Now that all my electronics equipment warranty information is stored on Yarraa.com, the next time I need a part or repair, life will be easier. I simply have to select the product in my inventory list, then type in my zip code under “Service Centers Location.” The nearest authorized service center for my laptop will pop up on the screen. The service center will receive my information, and I can ship back the product for repair with no hassles. Yarraa also permits me to track the status of my repairs online.

If you’re a small business owner like me – or if you rely on technology for any part of your life – being without your electronics equipment costs you time, money and convenience. Knowing the status of repairs gives you valuable peace of mind; sometimes it’s hard to believe Yarraa is a free service.

Introducing Yarraa Points

David BedeWe will soon be adding a new feature to your one-stop after-purchase resource: Yarraa Points.

Yarraa Points is a loyalty programme that benefits you and your consumers alike. Consumers earn Yarraa Points every time they register a new purchase, a warranty, or even an older product that they’ve owned for a while. They also earn Yarraa points for service requests, or recycling requests, shipping or insurance services purchased through a Yarraa link, and for referring friends to Yarraa. Newly minted Yarraa users also get a bonus just for signing up. When consumers have earned enough Yarraa points, they’ll be eligible for prizes from us or services from participating Yarraa partners (subsidised by us, of course).

What is the benefit for you, the service centre? In exchange for honouring Yarraa points, you will be eligible for rewards of your own. Your balance of redeemed Yarraa Points will be updated automatically, and will be displayed on your Yarraa home page. When you have redeemed enough Yarraa Points, you can exchange them for such rewards as free premium billing on our service centre list, reduced subscription renewals, and banner ads. We’ll have lots more information about the rewards – and the Yarraa Points programme – shortly, so check back here for details!

Yarraa, UET to Form Joint Venture

David Bede

We are pleased to announce that U E-Technologies, a member of the UMW Group, will soon be entering into a joint venture with Yarraa. The joint venture will entail our companies working together in Malaysia to publicize Yarraa and its many benefits for consumers and sell-side users alike. U E-Technologies will now put its considerable business network to good use in reaching out to potential clients in the very important Malaysian market. This partnership has been several months in the making, and will greatly enhance Yarraa’s ability to serve consumers and companies alike in Malaysia – just for starters.

UMW is a conglomeration of businesses with strong presence in the automotive, equipment, engineering, and oil-and-gas industries. Founded in Malaysia in 1917 and still based there, UMW now enjoys an international presence reaching as far afield as Australia and Turkmenistan. U E-Technologies, also known as UET, was founded in 1994 to provide information technology (IT) services to UMW. It provides both products and services, with a focus on the areas of facilities management, systems development and integration, and maintenance and support.

Much like Yarraa, UET committed to finding ways to help its clients improve customer service. Among the ways it accomplishes this goal are solutions in the fields of project management, message development, and systems integrations. For 15 years, UET has helped businesses all over Malaysia run more smoothly and profitably. Now it will have an additional solution to offer, in the form of Yarraa’s unparalleled after-sales services! With UET’s outreach and our services, consumers all over Malaysia will soon have an easier time than they had ever imagined with managing warranties and after-purchase needs.

We are optimistic that similar joint ventures will soon be forthcoming in other countries. In the meantime, we look forward to welcoming UET’s many Malaysian business- and trading partners into the Yarraa family!

Introducing Yarraa 1.3

David BedeWe are proud to announce the arrival of Yarraa 1.3. It looks just like the Yarraa you already know and love, but now it's even more user-friendly for your inventory-tracking needs.

Yarraa 1.3 works just like the previous edition did, so there's no need for you to relearn anything. Just log in and get to work as you did yesterday. What has changed is that a couple of things just got a lot easier for you. Now if you want to keep track of your parts and equipment balances, you no longer need to go through the Reports section to do so. Just go to Inventory, and you can find all the up to date information you need on your spare parts and equipment balances. You can also route your spare parts now, just like you can route your completed projects to their collection points.

We have also updated our Role Management functions to make them work even more smoothly than before. Need to update your staff's Yarraa privileges? Now it's even easier than before, and the changes are so subtle we don't think you'll even notice. But we will, which is why we're proud to have made Yarraa even more user-friendly for you!

Powerful dashboard for reports generation

Yarraa your after-sales whiz lays down a collection of valuable information at my fingertips. The system enables me to check and create a link with other service centers so I may coordinate the reorder of supply materials and availability of replacement parts. With Yarraa gathering of information is very easy, I don't have to leave the office to manually inspect other remote sites to manage the overall inventory of the supplies and database of unprocessed service requests. So far, Yarraa is absolutely the best solution for inventory management! I'm very impressed with the web dashboard which generates the top technicians and top failures table. It helps me identify and reward the most outstanding technicians I have around! There is no need for time-consuming generation of monthly reports; Yarraa has certainly provided everything I need. Yarraa is a powerful tool to have!

Joselito Paule

I have been hearing a lot of satisfactory remarks about Yarraa, since there are apparent mismanagement cases troubling my technical team particularly delayed repair schedules and shortages in supply parts, I strongly proposed to the board meeting that Yarraa should be tested and integrated to the company's system. Well, bless the makers of Yarraa! I would say remarkable is an underrated word. This asset management software has generated astounding and positive results to both the operations department and the organization. Daily monitoring of repair timetable and control of supply levels do not anymore carry any hitches and drawbacks to daily operations not to mention having a pleasant business relationship with our suppliers. Yarraa surely tandems with the service center team and I definitely recommend this asset management system as a knockout to your business' success.
